The fog had rolled in, I was busy photographing a lone tree in a cotton field when I caught a glimpse of this fellow moving out of the coroner of my eye. I rotated my camera on the tripod as was able to make this shot before the fog lifted and the scene changed - sometimes you get lucky!
D’Arcy Evans was born in a small town in Ontario, Canada in 1960. His interest in photography was sparked in 1997 while flying over the Yukon River in Alaska in a small plane. He made a photograph of the river that was later used by the geography department at the high school he attended back home.
