I can imagine this old church in all its glory, pastor greeting parishioners on Sunday morning, a community bonded together by common faith. What I can't understand is how this could happen. The building has since been torn down. I guess it was an eye sore for those travelling past it on their way to their gated community.
D’Arcy Evans was born in a small town in Ontario, Canada in 1960. His interest in photography was sparked in 1997 while flying over the Yukon River in Alaska in a small plane. He made a photograph of the river that was later used by the geography department at the high school he attended back home.
