This image was part of a series made at Wasaga Beach Ontario several years ago. The model whom I worked with often had a natural presence in front of the camera. The silhouette worked well in contrast with the bright sun in the background.
D’Arcy Evans was born in a small town in Ontario, Canada in 1960. His interest in photography was sparked in 1997 while flying over the Yukon River in Alaska in a small plane. He made a photograph of the river that was later used by the geography department at the high school he attended back home. Over the years D’Arcy has owned and operated successful galleries and studios providing general photographic work and fine art. Today his “focus” is on fine art and his images have been viewed and sold all over the globe.
